Contact:   - Gail Dickinson   - Anthony Petrosino		STEP I under STEP COURSES Objectives:   Preservice teachers will use internet-based technology (e-mail, discussion boards, group pages, etc.,) to communicate with each other, plan lessons, discuss hot topics, communicate with mentor and master teachers, gather information, and receive class announcements. Preservice teachers will locate and become familiar with web-based instructional resources in their discipline Preservice teachers will design instructional handouts for on-line simulations in their disciplines. Students will use computers to analyze data Student Products:   E-mailed teaching reflections Newsgroup postings E-mailed word-processed lesson plans Lesson plans posted in newsgroups Class activity and Webquest (E.g. Scavenger Hunt 1, Scavenger Hunt 2, Scavenger Hunt 3, Scavenger Hunt 4) Class activity and instructional handouts for web lessons (E.G. Vector Guide, Rainbow Guide, Pendulum Guide, Blackout Syndrome Guide and Gravitational Acceleration Guide.) Pooled data sets, excel spreadsheets ISTE NETS*T Standards:   II.A. II.C. II.E. IV.C. V.A.
