Welcome to The UTeach Technology Integration Site
In February of 2002, the UTeach program was awarded the
ISTE NETS*T Distinguished Achievement Award
for excellence in technology integration. The Distinguished Achievement Award recognizes institutions
which "exhibit exemplary models of integration of the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers
(NETS*T) into their teacher education programs."
Much of the success of the UTeach program stems from a strong commitment to utilizing technology in
classrooms, laboratories, student work and in student teaching. This website documents the complex interweaving
of technology into the UTeach certification program. You may use the navigation bar located to the left side of this
screen to explore all aspects of this unique, technologically-rich program.
