SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING: UTeach students in the College of Natural Sciences and in the School of Engineering who are pursuing the Math, Physical Science, Engineering certification are encouraged to apply for funding. Click here for more information.
COLLEGE OF EDUCATION: UTeach students are eligible to apply for the College of Education Endowed Scholarships in Mathematics and Science. The purpose of these scholarships is to assist upper-division undergraduate students and degree-holders who are pursuing teacher certification in Science Education or Mathematics Education. The donors want to support pre-service teachers who are committed to teaching Science or Mathematics at the Secondary level by awarding them between $1000 and $2,500. Some of these awards have additional criteria, e.g., financial need, GPA, having gone to high school in Texas, so there are questions that ask for that information. In addition, some criteria apply to undergraduates and not to degree-holders. We encourage you to submit an application. Click here for the application form.
IMPORTANT: These endowed scholarships are administered through the College of Education. If you have questions about eligibility, the application, the selection process, or distribution, please talk to Dr. Jill Marshall or Stephen Flynn.
COLLEGE OF NATURAL SCIENCES: See other scholarships available to Natural Sciences students here.
