Math, Physical Science and Engineering

Students who are seeking certification in Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering in addition to their undergraduate degree are required to have credit with a grade of at least C- in the content courses listed below. These are in addition to the UTeach courses in the professional development sequence (Course Descriptions ).     • M 408C and M 408D (or a complete calculus sequence)

  • Physics
    • PHY 301, 101L (non-Engineering majors only; Engineering majors take PHY 303K, 103M)
    • PHY 316, 116L (non-Engineering majors only; Engineering majors take PHY 303L, 103N)
    • PHY 315, 115L (non-Engineering majors only)
  • Chemistry
    • CH 301
  • Engineering: Non-Engineering majors choose 3 of 4 courses listed below. Offered in the summers only. Engineering majors are strongly encouraged to complete at least one of the courses below.

    • ME 397
